Director  Elizabeth Abraham Elizabeth is a family lawyer, exclusively practicing family and child protection law in Brantford since 2016. Elizabeth is interested in learning more about the Brantford community and about the services provided to families in Brantford and surrounding areas.
Director  Alyssa Brimmer Youth member completing fourth year at the University of Guelph in International Development with a minor in Geography. Has applied to Teacher’s College.  Experience includes work at Olympia Sports Camp and the City of Brantford’s Branlyn Camp; internship at Xavier Project in Kampala, Uganda; worked with Insight Global Education helping develop curriculum for youth.
Director Brian Konst Child Protection Worker at Brant Family and Children’s Services.  Seeks opportunities to promote the diverse needs of people.
Director Laura Miedema Teacher Consultant for Special Education with the Grand Erie District School Board.  Volunteer as a Parent Facilitator for the Brant FASD Caregiver Support Group and Co-chair the Brant Community FASD Action Group.

Eligibility for membership on the Board of Directors membership:

  1. Resident of Brant/Brantford, or have been employed or carried on business in Brant/Brantford for a continuous period of at least one year immediately prior;
  2. Eighteen (18) years of age or older; and
  3. Willing to sign a declaration of commitment to the mission and objects of the organization.
